How much are these vintage keys worth?
I went through my attic recently and saw that I had a small tin filled with vintage keys, some with the dates 1872 and 1880 on them. Most say, “The National Cash Register Co. Dayton, Ohio, U.S.A.” The keys also have the numbers 1 and 2. There is another key that says the dates October 8, 1872 and November 2, 1880. Above that, it says “patented” and then below it says, “YALE Stamford Conn. USA.” On the back it has the number 3. Another smaller keys says “Yale & Towne MFG. Co., F37,” and then “Yale” again. All in all, there are about 50 keys in varying shapes and sizes, all old-looking. I know the general history of the Yale lock company as well as the NCR but was wondering if these were worth anything. Thanks!
I either check out Ebay or just use a search engine that brings up a site that will help.
